Duties & Responsibilities:
Designing and integrating complete automated production cells, including robotics, vision systems, part feeders, HMIs, PCs, PLCs, and related components.
Developing, programming, and troubleshooting robust control software for automated machines and manufacturing cells.
Driving continuous improvement efforts on existing equipment, including control upgrades, panel redesigns or rewiring, and integration of new technologies.
Creating new electrical schematics and maintaining accurate, up-to-date documentation of existing designs.
Contributing to functional specifications for new equipment and partnering with manufacturing engineers and equipment vendors on best practices and component selection.
Providing technical documentation, training, and ongoing support to ensure knowledge transfer and system sustainability.
