  • Collaborate with operational teams to identify trends, risks, and opportunities affecting business performance.
  • Manage Work in Progress and Accounts Receivable, optimizing days sales outstanding (DSO) and supporting collection efforts with project managers.
  • Ensure compliance with revenue recognition policies and IFRS standards across portfolios.
  • Lead a team of project accountants, promoting a culture of development and accountability.
  • Develop and refine financial performance metrics and reporting tools to enhance decision-making.
  • Standardize and enhance financial processes for improved efficiency.

In this role, you'll partner closely with operational leaders, influence decisions at scale, and help drive the performance of complex, high-impact projects across Canada.

Your Impact
  • Monitor and challenge monthly Transportation & Infrastructure financial performance, providing timely analysis and recommendations that drive corrective action.
  • Lead and actively participate in project reviews, ensuring robust financial support for EACs and guiding mitigation strategies that influence project success.
  • Partner with operational teams to identify trends, risks, and opportunities affecting current and future business performance.
  • Manage Work in Progress and Accounts Receivable, partnering with billing and collections teams and project managers to optimize DSO and support collection efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with revenue recognition policies and IFRS standards across assigned portfolios.
  • Provide leadership to a team of project accountants and foster a culture of development, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and refine financial performance metrics and reporting tools that enable better decision-making.
  • Standardize, streamline, and enhance business processes for improved financial efficiency.
  • Support internal and external audits and contribute to joint venture accounting and financial statement reviews.

Compensation
  • AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $122,900 - $162,800
  • MB & ON: $112,100 - $154,400
  • NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $111,000 - $147,400
