ControllerWhat You'll Do- Lead all accounting operations, including AP, AR, general ledger, and intercompany transactions across multiple locations
- Oversee and improve cost accounting, inventory controls, and manufacturing variance analysis
- Partner with the President and operations to monitor production costs, labor efficiencies, and material useage
- Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting, including plant-level performance metrics
- Manage month-end close and consolidated financial reporting
- Analyze variances between standard costs and actual results; recommend improvements
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning with leadership
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and financial reporting requirements
- Manage relationships with auditors, banks, and external partners
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team
- Provide backup support for payroll and benefits administration as needed
What You Bring- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- CPA preferred
- 5+ years of accounting/finance experience, with manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and standard costing
- Experience supporting plant operations or multi-site environments
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to build and develop teams
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
