A private equity-backed aerospace manufacturer is seeking a Plant Controller for one of its Southern California manufacturing facilities.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a hands-on manufacturing finance leader who enjoys partnering with operations, improving processes, and making a visible impact at the plant level. Reporting into corporate finance leadership, you'll lead all accounting and finance activities for the facility while managing a small accounting team.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead all accounting and financial reporting for the manufacturing plant
- Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Drive cost accounting and inventory analysis
- Lead monthly and quarterly financial reviews with leadership
- Oversee capital expenditure planning and reporting
- Manage cash forecasting and cash management activities
- Partner closely with plant leadership to improve operational and financial performance
- Develop and mentor the accounting team while strengthening internal processes and controls
We're looking for professionals with:
- Progressive accounting and finance experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong cost accounting expertise
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Cash forecasting and cash management experience
- A hands-on leadership style with a willingness to spend time on the manufacturing floor building relationships with operations
- Self-starter who enjoys solving problems and driving continuous improvement
- ERP experience in a manufacturing environment (Visual is a plus)
- Aerospace manufacturing experience is beneficial but not required
