Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Lead, coach, develop, and hold the accounting team accountable for performance, accuracy, timeliness, professionalism, and cross-functional service.
- Ensure the timely and accurate processing of all accounting transactions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and cash management.
- Lead the month-end close process, including oversight of balance sheet reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
- Manage weekly cash flow forecasting and cash management activities.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely preparation of financial reports.
- Perform Profit & Loss analysis, variance analysis, and other ad hoc financial analyses.
- Support cost accounting, inventory accounting, and FP&A activities through accurate cost analysis and operational insights.
- Assist with monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and cost management initiatives.
- Ensure effective internal controls are established and maintained in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Serve as the primary contact for internal, external, and SOX audits.
- Coordinate and oversee corporate reporting requests, including support for tax preparation, quarterly filings, annual filings, and other corporate financial reporting requirements.
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Finance Leadership, and Site Leadership to provide accounting expertise, operational analysis, and financial information for planning and decision-making.

Required Education and Experience- Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited four-year university
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience
- 5+ years of accounting leadership or managerial experience
Preferred Education and Experience- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
- 5+ years of accounting experience within a public company environment
- 5+ years of accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
