What You'll Do- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, month-end close, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements while ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP.
- Maintain and improve scalable accounting processes, internal controls, and financial policies that support rapid company growth.
- Partner with Finance, Operations, Engineering, and Program Management to improve financial visibility across programs and purchasing activities.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash management, external audits, tax filings, and investor reporting.
- Support the implementation and ongoing improvement of accounting systems, reporting tools, and process automation.
What We're Looking For Required - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3-6 years of accounting experience, preferably within public accounting and/or a technology, aerospace, manufacturing, or hardware company.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close processes.
- Experience developing internal controls and improving accounting processes.
- Experience using modern ERP/accounting systems (NetSuite preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Your Ideal Background Preferred - Experience supporting venture-backed startups or rapidly scaling companies.
- Experience with manufacturing accounting, inventory accounting, or project accounting.
- Familiarity with government contracting, FAR/DFARS, or aerospace accounting requirements.
- Experience supporting annual audits, financial due diligence, and fundraising activities.
Additional Requirements: Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
Compensation and Benefits: Your base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. The anticipated salary range for this role is $100,000 - $155,000 annually.
