What You'll Do
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the firm's financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal industry regulations
- Develop and implement accounting policies and internal controls to strengthen operational efficiency
- Prepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, and cash flow statements to guide leadership decision-making
- Monitor and report on key financial performance indicators (KPIs), providing actionable insights
- Collaborate with attorneys, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate billing, payments, and trust accounting compliance
- Leverage Litify and QuickBooks (QB) to manage financial data and create robust reporting systems
- Maintain compliance with state bar rules, trust accounting (IOLTA) requirements, and other firm-specific financial obligations
What We're Looking For
- Law Firm Expertise: Minimum 5 years of accounting/finance experience in a law firm setting (required)
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Credentials: CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency with Litify, QuickBooks (QB), Microsoft Excel, and financial reporting tools
- Legal Accounting Knowledge: In-depth understanding of trust accounting, client fund management, and bar compliance
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and written communication skills to collaborate across teams and with external partners

Compensation: $115,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
