Full Job Description
The successful candidate will be a key member of the local Management team and work closely with the General Managers of multiple facilities. The ideal candidate must possess a clear understanding of public company reporting requirements, have managed staff and demonstrate strong attention to detail. The incumbent must be comfortable working with various departments in the company and getting involved in multiple projects. In addition to strong leadership and management skills, the incumbent must show entrepreneurial spirit, possess strong organizational and documentation skills, strong teamwork skills and can work independently with internal and external professionals at all levels.

The Controller will be responsible for multiple facilities which are the Center of Excellence for the machining of medium to large landing gear components for commercial and defense markets.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES

  • Responsible for annual 5 year budget, strategic planning and regular forecasting
  • Responsible for monthly & quarterly financial reporting including financial statements, memos and ensuring team is maintaining all GL account reconciliations
  • Responsible for providing critical KPI reporting for operational success to improve operational performance
  • Maintain, monitor and implement financial controls and procedures to satisfy Bill 198 (52-109);
  • Provide financial insight to all management & support all functional areas;
  • Liaison for annual financial audit and twice a year Bill 198 (52-109) audit
  • Lead annual physical inventory count and ensure cycle count process is maintained throughout year
  • Responsible for maintaining all accounting records and proper archival of such records;
  • Communicate with Corporate office on financial data and business activities (tax, insurance etc) as required;
  • Other analysis and projects as required;
  • Lead anddevelop yourteam to be timely, accurate and efficient in release of information;

  • Workclosely with theother departments.


QUALIFICATION:

  • The candidate should holda Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance and hold a CPA designation


EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 5 years (post designation) working experience with preference from a manufacturing environment

Salary range: $110,000-$130,000 per year
