Controller to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting support, audit preparation, and financial analysis. This position works closely with the CFO and serves as a key member of the Finance team.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accuracy of the general ledger and financial reporting.
- Prepare month-end journal entries, account reconciliations, and Board reports.
- Coordinate annual operating and capital budgets.
- Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
- Assist with audits, Medicare/Medicaid cost reports, and regulatory reporting.
- Oversee Accounts Payable processes and supervise the Accounts Payable Specialist.
- Monitor cash management, contractual allowances, bad debt, and other financial analyses.
- Support chargemaster reviews and reimbursement-related activities.
- Perform CFO duties in the CFO's absence.
QualificationsRequired:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Minimum one year of hospital or non-governmental accounting experience, or two years of public/private accounting experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, formulas, and reporting tools.
Preferred:- Master's degree and/or CPA designation.
- Healthcare finance experience.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic healthcare environment.
