Job RequirementsBasic Qualifications- BS in Accounting or Finance.
- 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting and GAAP compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft products with advanced Excel skills MS Access databases.
- Minimum 3 years' experience with mind-market ERP software as a user or power user.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications- CPA or CMA certification.
- Experience with Global Shop Solutions or similar ERP software.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement or LEAN principles.
Essential Job Function- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Supervise all accounting staff to ensure accurate and timely reporting and recording of financial data.
- Manage general ledger accuracy and oversee month-end and year-end close processes.
- Monitor and report on manufacturing cost standards and job costing.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement process improvements for accounting workflows.
- Provide support for ERP system usage and coordinate with IT resources.
- Lead accounting projects to change and/or improve processes.
