The ideal candidate thrives in a multi-entity environment, partners closely with non-financial leaders, and builds scalable accounting infrastructure.

  • Lead the full month-end close for all six PAL locations, ensuring entries, accruals, reconciliations, reviews, and financial reporting are completed accurately by Business Day 6.
  • Prepare and/or review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports in compliance with GAAP and internal standards.
  • Build, lead, and develop the accounting team: assess capacity, define roles, hire/onboard talent, plan workload, cross-train, coach, and manage performance.
  • Serve as the primary accounting partner to PAL leadership, providing proactive updates on close status, financial results, cash flow, and emerging issues; translate financial data into actionable insights.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to auditor requests.
  • Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in partnership with operations and other departments.
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with City Wide standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive process standardization, automation, and scalability: evaluate workflows, implement technology solutions, and reduce manual effort to shorten close timelines and improve accuracy.
  • Own and monitor KSF dashboards tracking close performance, financial health, service levels, team capacity, and process improvement; address trends or gaps proactively.
  • Act as a key escalation point, modeling City Wide's values and servant leadership approach.
  • Perform other duties as necessary to support business needs.
