Full Job Description
Job Title: Accounting Manager / Controller

Location: Tampa, FL

Salary Range: $115,000 - $145,000 + bonus (5-10%), 401(k) with 4% match

Work Setup: In-office preferred with flexibility over time

Reports To: CEO

Start Date: Ideally within the first 2 weeks of accepting the offer

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Operations
  • Oversee operational accounting (bank reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close)
  • Maintain general ledger accuracy and handle reporting
  • Manage cash flow and forecasting

Inventory Oversight
  • Monitor and report on inventory levels (system is highly functional but needs human oversight)

ERP Management
  • Use and oversee Pentagon 2000 (SQL-based ERP system; experience helpful but not required)

Financial Analysis
  • Deliver actionable insights to CEO and leadership
  • Contribute to strategic financial planning
