Position Overview: The Control Room Leader is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the control room in a cement manufacturing facility. This role ensures efficient production processes while maintaining safety standards and optimizing performance. The supervisor will lead a team of operators, monitor equipment, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operations.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the activities of control room operators to ensure effective plant operations.
Monitor and control the cement production processes from the control room.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards within the control room and production areas.
Conduct regular field inspections to assess equipment and operational conditions.
Collaborate with maintenance teams to address equipment issues and minimize downtime.
Lead training and development initiatives for control room staff to enhance skills and knowledge.
Implement continuous improvement strategies to optimize production efficiency and quality.
Qualifications
Proven experience in cement industry operations, particularly in control room management.
Strong knowledge of cement production processes, including kiln and grinding operations.
Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols, such as MSHA requirements.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to improve operational performance.
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
