Full Job Description
Manages the review and processing of contracts and commercial documents, including creation of new contracts, review of customer-provided contracts, negotiation of changes and engagement of relevant stakeholders in negotiation decisions. In conjunction with the Commercial Specialist, disseminates contract requirements to various internal departments/stakeholders. Performs work requiring considerable independence, initiative and judgment.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
• Under the direction of the Director of Contracts, manage the contract lifecycle from initial negotiation through execution and closeout. Draft, review, and negotiate customer contracts, including master service agreements, right of entry agreements, statements of work, and amendments.
• Analyze and communicate contract requirements to internal departments, including rates, commercial terms, and billing information. Interface with customers to support commercial and qualification requirements.
• Provide commercial support to leadership and assist in negotiating contract terms with customers as directed.
• Manage the contract review and editing process in coordination with the legal department.
• Identify contractual risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies. Collaborate with legal, finance, and operations teams to address risks appropriately.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries, helping resolve issues and support customer relationships.
• Participate in contract negotiations to achieve balanced terms that align with company objectives while managing risk.
• Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies, escalating issues to leadership or legal as needed.
• Support administration of insurance requirements in coordination with the corporate risk function.
• Maintain contract administration processes, including templates, documentation, renewals, and recordkeeping.
• Assist in developing pricing and rate structures and support negotiations as directed by leadership.
• Investigate and resolve questions related to commercial terms, pricing, and contract interpretation.
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members as needed, contributing to team development and knowledge sharing.

Job Qualifications:
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Legal, or related field
• 5+ years' experience in contract negotiations, preferably in an industrial or petrochemical environment
• Familiarity with contracting framework and general legal terms
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to interact comfortably with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to analyze complex contractual terms and conditions
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
