Job DescriptionYou will be the Contracts Management Sr for the. Our team is responsible for supporting the THAAD Program through end-to-end contract administration, negotiations, metrics, and future contract planning.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Contracts Management Sr you will be responsible for driving contract performance from capture through award and throughout the contract life cycle.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Manage the full spectrum of contracts - from proposal preparation and negotiation to award administration and ongoing compliance.
- Coordinate with program management, finance, legal, sub-contracts, engineering, and other functions to align contract terms with business objectives.
- Serve as the authorized Company representative to customers, building effective relationships and resolving contractual issues.
- Lead and support internal and external audits, ensuring all contractual actions meet laws, regulations, and Delegation of Authority requirements.
- Prepare and deliver concise contract status reports, data compilations, and performance metrics to corporate and business-area leadership.
Occasional travel is required.

Basic Qualifications3+ years of related professional experience and generally possesses a post-secondary degree from an accredited college
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Prior experience in all aspects of the contract life cycle including proposals, negotiations, administration, and close-out
Proven ability to develop internal and external relationships; must possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Must be detail oriented and able to work in a virtual team environment; Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
Excellent presentation skills, strong analytical abilities, and be a self-start who can work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to establish effective working relationships and communications with all internal and external customers and must possess excellent business acumen
Desired skillsIncentive Fee Contracting knowledge of both Cost Type and Fixed Price arrangements
Prior Contracts experience working with MDA (Missile Defense Agency) or THAAD work experience
Proven experience negotiating and administering a variety of fixed price type (FFP, FPIF) and cost type contracts (CPFF, CPIF)
Electronic Contracting Environment (ECE) experience
Familiarity with the IWTA system and related policies and procedures
Ability to engage in routine and unique problems/issues to help develop solutions for multi-million-dollar complex contracts
Ability to coordinate DCAA and DCMA activities including audits, performance-based payment plans, etc.
Ability to work remotelyPart-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. National Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $77,700 - $136,965. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $89,300 - $154,905.
