About the role

Following our continued growth across the United States, we are seeking a Contracts & Proposals Lead to join our Commercial team in New York City.

As our Contracts & Proposals Manager, you will own the end-to-end development and coordination of commercial proposals, RFPs, RFIs, and standard customer contracts across Biorce's pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and clinical research customers.

This is a high-impact individual contributor role combining persuasive proposal writing, commercial judgment, contract fluency, and operational discipline. You will work closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, Product, Clinical, Information Security, and senior leadership to turn complex customer requirements into accurate, compelling, and commercially competitive responses.

As one of the first dedicated hires in this function, you will also build the templates, systems, processes, and governance required to help Biorce manage increasingly sophisticated enterprise opportunities at scale.

Who We're Looking For

A highly organized and commercially minded contracts and proposals professional with experience supporting complex enterprise sales cycles within clinical technology, life sciences software, healthcare technology, pharmaceutical services, or another regulated B2B technology environment.

This person should be an exceptional writer, a confident cross-functional operator, and someone who understands how pricing, scope, implementation requirements, customer expectations, and contractual terms connect throughout an enterprise sales process.

You should be comfortable operating with full ownership-managing multiple concurrent deadlines, coordinating senior stakeholders, challenging incomplete or unclear inputs, identifying commercial risks, and building structure within a fast-moving, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end management of incoming RFPs, RFIs, proposals, security questionnaires, due-diligence requests, and other customer procurement requirements.
  • Coordinate inputs across Sales, Product, Clinical, Finance, Information Security, Legal, and senior leadership to deliver complete, accurate, and high-quality submissions on time.
  • Draft clear, persuasive, and tailored proposals that communicate Biorce's value proposition to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and CRO customers.
  • Translate complex technical, clinical, regulatory, and commercial information into concise and compelling customer-facing language.
  • Draft, review, and redline standard commercial agreements, including NDAs, master services agreements, statements of work, order forms, and amendments.
  • Partner with Legal on agreements containing non-standard provisions relating to liability, indemnification, intellectual property, privacy, data use, regulated clinical activities, and artificial intelligence.
  • Coordinate pricing, scope, commercial terms, implementation assumptions, timelines, and internal approvals before proposals and contracts are submitted.
  • Manage multiple active opportunities simultaneously while maintaining clear visibility into deadlines, owners, approvals, risks, dependencies, and outstanding information.
  • Build and maintain a centralized library of approved proposal content, company information, case studies, product descriptions, contractual language, and security responses.
  • Develop standardized templates, intake processes, approval workflows, version-control procedures, and quality standards for proposals and contracts.
  • Track proposal activity, turnaround times, win rates, recurring customer objections, and opportunities to improve commercial processes.
  • Identify contractual, operational, and commercial risks early and escalate them to the appropriate internal stakeholders.
  • Support the Commercial team throughout customer procurement, legal review, negotiation, and contracting until agreements are ready for execution.
  • Help establish scalable contracts, proposals, and deal-desk infrastructure as Biorce continues expanding across the U.S. and internationally.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams; you take full ownership of your deadlines, deliverables, processes, and internal stakeholder relationships.

Requirements

Must-haves

  • 5+ years of experience in proposals, contracts, commercial operations, deal desk, bid management, or a closely related function.
  • Experience working within clinical technology, life sciences software, healthcare technology, pharmaceutical services, a CRO, or another regulated B2B technology environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex enterprise RFP and RFI responses from initial intake through final submission.
  • Exceptional proposal-writing skills and the ability to create persuasive, customer-specific content rather than relying solely on generic templates.
  • Practical experience drafting, reviewing, or redlining standard commercial agreements, statements of work, and other customer-facing contractual documents.
  • Strong understanding of how pricing, scope, implementation requirements, legal terms, and customer expectations connect within an enterprise sales process.
  • Experience coordinating inputs and approvals across Commercial, Product, Finance, Legal, Information Security, and senior leadership teams.
  • Ability to manage several complex opportunities and competing deadlines simultaneously without sacrificing accuracy or attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to challenge unclear inputs and drive stakeholders toward decisions.
  • Strong commercial judgment and the ability to identify risks, inconsistencies, and gaps before materials are shared externally.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to create structure, improve processes, and operate independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Ability to work from our New York City office at least three days per week.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience supporting enterprise pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO customers.
  • Familiarity with clinical trial technology, SaaS platforms, AI-enabled products, or regulated healthcare data.
  • Experience building a proposals, contracts, bid-management, or deal-desk function from the ground up.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical procurement processes and enterprise vendor-assessment requirements.
  • Experience responding to data privacy, information security, artificial intelligence, regulatory, or technical questionnaires.
  • A track record of improving proposal quality, reducing contracting timelines, increasing response efficiency, or contributing to higher commercial win rates.

What We Offer

  • A competitive base salary of $140,000-$165,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and overall fit.
  • Eligibility for a performance-based bonus.
  • Opportunity to build and own a critical commercial function within a fast-growing AI Healthtech company.
  • Direct exposure to senior leadership and strategically important customer opportunities.
  • Opportunity to support engagements with some of the world's largest pharmaceutical and life sciences organizations.
  • Significant potential to expand your responsibilities as Biorce's Commercial organization continues to scale.

Why Join Us?

  • A dynamic work environment with an international team, where collaboration and diversity thrive.
  • Work alongside top talent, united by a shared purpose and committed to making a real impact.
  • Comprehensive private health coverage to ensure your physical and mental well-being.
  • Hybrid work model offering flexibility to balance your professional and personal life.
  • Company events to celebrate achievements and enjoy time together.
  • Get equipped with a MacBook to enhance your productivity and work experience.
  • Our office is pet-friendly! You'll likely be greeted by a few wagging tails upon arrival.
