Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Provides research administration supervisory support for federally, state, privately, and industry-funded grants and contracts. Responsibilities include proposal development, budget preparation, financial management, compliance monitoring, award administration, forecasting, reporting, and closeout activities. Collaborates with faculty investigators and research staff to ensure successful management of sponsored research programs and adherence to university and sponsor requirements. will supervise and train research administration staff, oversee workload distribution, and provide guidance on grant management processes and compliance matters.

Annual salary range: $98,200.00 - $214,600.00.

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
  • 5+ years of experience in Research Administration
  • Proven experience as an effective team leader and supervisor, guiding team members to success.
  • Expanded knowledge of financial and accounting concepts, including interpreting financial statements.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethics, integrity, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Strengthened interpersonal skills for effective communication and relationship building
