Job Opportunity - Contracts & Grants Manager

About the Position: Irvine Ranch Conservancy (IRC) has an opening for a full-time Contracts & Grants Manager. The Contracts & Grants Manager has overall responsibility for the administration of IRC's contracts and grants, working in close partnership with IRC's Program Operations Manager and Program Managers as well as government agencies and other external funders. The position also works closely with IRC's Vice President & Chief Administration Officer to contribute to the strategic development of IRC's administration functions, including creation and development of new and improved systems and processes.

The Successful Candidate will have a bachelor's degree in business administration, social sciences, communications, or similar field of study; five (5) years of relevant experience in a related field; and the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
  • Successful experience working and communicating with diverse groups.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interpret contract terms and communicate terms to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Successful experience developing work plans and implementing projects with tight timelines and specific deliverables.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365, particularly working in the SharePoint environment.


Salary Range: $85,000 - $98,000 per year
