Full Job Description
Responsibilities
  • Administer a portfolio of federal government prime contracts, task orders, delivery orders, and contract modifications throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Support contract administration from proposal and award through performance, modifications, option exercises, and closeout.
  • Review, interpret, negotiate, and ensure compliance with contract terms, FAR, agency regulations, and company policies.
  • Prepare and process contractual documents, including awards, modifications, amendments, and other contract-related agreements.
  • Partner with business development, capture, finance, legal, procurement, and program teams to support successful contract execution.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and government customers on contract administration matters.
  • Monitor contract performance, funding, deliverables, and key milestones while maintaining accurate contract records and documentation.
  • Identify contractual risks, recommend solutions, and support continuous improvement of contract administration processes.
Qualifications
  • BA/BS in business or a related field and a minimum of 10 years of contracting experience. Additional years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of Bachelor’s degree
  • Review RFP’s and administer contracts, task orders, and delivery orders.
  • Review and provide input for Teaming Agreement and Non-disclosure agreements.
  • Provide oversight and evaluation of major proposals, monitoring prime contract terms and conditions, lead or assist in key negotiations and identify risks and associated mitigations in compliance with all LMI polices and applicable contract provisions.
  • Make entries into LMI contract systems, maintain contract files and ensure compliance with government and company policies.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers, and respond to government, prime contractor, and subcontractor inquiries. Regularly interacts with internal peers, including other Contracts staff and functional groups such as Capture Managers, Project Control, Accounting, and Business Development
  • Work closely with program staff to keep abreast of LMI performance and monitor for conformance to requirements. Review LMI deliverables for compliance with contract terms.
  • Performs contract closeout as required.
  • Must have experience with all contract types and a strong knowledge of the FAR/DFARS
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Word skills. 
  • Excellent communication and grammar with strong verbal and written communication skills for composing and interpreting a variety of internal and external business correspondence
  • Detail oriented and organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Previous experience with Federal Civilian agencies a plus
