Location: Toronto, CA

Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

In this position, you'll be based in the Toronto office for a minimum of three days a week.

We're embarking on an exciting new phase in the expansion of our Procurement target operating model and we're looking for talented individuals to be part of the journey. These changes will enhance the capability of Computershare's global Procurement teams. Our ambition is to create a function that is proactively called upon by the business to enable growth while reducing cost and managing risk.

To support our vision for the Procurement function, we are building new capabilities in our CoE of which this role will be part of. These capabilities will cover sourcing and contracting, data analytics and reporting, systems and process improvements, as well as third-party risk management and vendor management activities.

At Computershare, our global Procurement function plays a vital role in delivering value across all business units, negotiating with third-party suppliers and supporting the purchase of goods and services across every region. As part of this team, the Contracting Specialist operates at a global level, helping to shape our supplier partnerships while ensuring we meet strict legal, regulatory, and internal standards. In this fast-paced and collaborative role, you'll support sourcing efforts across a variety of categories, helping to deliver measurable cost savings and long-term value from our supply chain. You'll lead the negotiation of commercial terms and fees, manage the contracting process end-to-end, and ensure all necessary requisitions and documentation are completed accurately and on time.

From handling stakeholder inquiries and supporting supplier onboarding to clearing outstanding purchase orders, your attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence will help keep everything running smoothly.

You'll also play a key role in analyzing market trends and financial data to support both new and renewal contract decisions, while maintaining an accurate and organized contract management system. Your insights will contribute to cost avoidance initiatives, category-specific strategies, and overall procurement innovation. By driving tail spending initiatives and enhancing our supplier relationships, you'll help position Procurement as a true source of competitive advantage, risk management, and continuous improvement

Key Responsibilities:

Required:
  • Strong knowledge of Procurement Categories and the associated supplier landscape
  • Experienced at negotiating commercial terms & fees
  • 7 years' Procurement negotiation experience
  • Minimum Project management qualification - or significant experience in this field

Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Economics, Finance, Operations or related area
  • Industry certification such as FCIPS, CIPS, IACCM or CPSM, Continuous Improvement or equivalent

Compensation: The typical base pay range for this role is $75,949 - $113,923 CAD. This base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations: Toronto, CA
