Contract Support Specialist with Creative Engineering, Strategic Partner with DJ&ALocation: Palm Beach County and Treasure Coast, Florida

Position Summary:The Contract Support Specialist provides administrative and technical support to the project inspection team under the direction of the Senior Project Engineer and Project Administrator/Project Engineer. This position is responsible for assisting in the efficient and effective delivery of construction engineering and inspection (CEI) services in accordance with the terms of the Agreement and applicable Department standards
Key Responsibilities: - Assist project engineering staff with day-to-day contract administration and documentation tasks
- Maintain accurate project records, correspondence, and files in compliance with the Department's Construction Project Administration Manual (CPAM)
- Support preparation and processing of project submittals, reports, pay estimates, and other contract documents
- Coordinate with the Construction Project Manager and Consultant team on scheduling, personnel requests, and administrative needs
- Assist with preparation and submission of personnel documentation, including Consultant Action Request Forms (ARFs) and electronic access approval requests
- Support tracking of project milestones, deliverables, and compliance activities
- Assist in maintaining up-to-date knowledge of CTQP certification requirements and training schedules
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of the project team
Education & Experience Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Experience with Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) projects or similar state DOT environments preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:- Working knowledge of the current FDOT Construction Project Administration Manual (CPAM) prior to project start
- Familiarity with FDOT procedures, documentation requirements, and project management systems
- Proficiency in standard office software (Microsoft Office Suite, document management systems, etc.)
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary project team
Certifications: - Applicable CTQP certifications required for duties performed must be obtained prior to the corresponding work activity, or as otherwise approved by the District Construction Engineer
- Equivalent certifications from a national or other state DOT accreditation program may be considered on an individual basis, subject to District Construction Engineer approval, provided the appropriate CTQP certification is obtained prior to the corresponding work activity

Compensation & Schedule- Pay Rate: $42-$44 per hour, depending on experience
- Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
