Blu Omega is a seeking highly motivated, experienced Contract Specialists to join our growing Contracts Team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to help drive groundbreaking health research from concept to impact, we invite you to join our mission.

About the Role

As a Contract Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the full lifecycle of research and development (R&D) agreements-providing both pre- and post-award contract management for cutting-edge initiatives. You will work closely with various teams to develop, solicit, award, and manage Other Transactions.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive pre- and post-award contract management support for R&D assistance agreements and Other Transactions (OTs).
  • Support Agreements Officers in the acquisition process, including developing solicitation materials, reviewing proposals, drafting award documentation, and managing active agreements.
  • Collaborate with Program Managers and staff to align acquisition strategies with programmatic goals.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable acquisition regulations and internal policies, with a strong focus on the unique flexibilities of Other Transactions.
  • Identify and mitigate acquisition risks while promoting innovative and responsive contracting approaches.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant acquisition/contracting experience required; federal experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with Other Transactions (OTs) and/or R&D contracting.
  • Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and best practices in federal R&D acquisitions.
  • Ability to operate independently and thrive in a rapidly changing, mission-driven environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.

Salary Range: $125K - $140K
Our final salary offer will be based on several factors, including depth of technical skills, work experience, education, certifications, and clearance
