Position Overview
The candidate selected for this position will serve as the single point of contact for a mission-critical Government program office, overseeing all aspects of contract and subcontract performance, including program execution, acquisition support, financial management, schedules, personnel, deliverables, and customer engagement. An Active Top Secret / SCI Clearance is Required. This position is located on-site at NGA Facilities in Ft. Belvoir, VA, and is contingent upon contract award.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary management liaison between the contractor team and the government program office.
- Oversee all contract and subcontract activities, including performance tracking, schedules, personnel management, training, and security deliverables.
- Monitor and manage financial reports, project burn rates, and potential contract modifications to ensure completion within the established budget.
- Serve as the primary interface with senior Government leadership, Contracting Officers, CORs, and executive stakeholders.
- Proactively identify, communicate, and report significant risks and issues, providing associated resolution plans and status updates.
- Direct the accomplishment of all Statement of Work (SOW) tasks and guarantee the on-time delivery of associated Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs).
- Maintain ongoing programmatic-level expertise regarding relevant NGA programs, projects, and activities.
Required Qualifications
- Active Top Secret / SCI Clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in any field.
- 10+ years managing large, complex military or Intelligence Community programs, including oversight of multi-disciplinary teams supporting classified mission environments.
- Deep familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD/DoW supplements.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or a comparable professional program management certification.
Desired Qualifications
- Master's or PhD degree in a business-related field.
- Experience managing programs with a high personnel count is highly desired.
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale contract transitions, including workforce onboarding, knowledge transfer, staffing, and operational stand-up.
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated compensation range for this position is between $156,000 and $203,000 annually. Actual salary is determined by a variety of factors, including the candidate's specialized skills, certifications, and years of experience.
