Contracts Manager

Clearance level: Clearance preferred or the ability to obtain.

Work Location: San Antonio, TX 78216 | Hyrbid Options

Work Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; Monday - Friday

Contracts Manager Job Summary

Under general direction, is responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and analyzing contracts with Government agencies, other contractors, and vendors. Under the direction of the President of the Company, formulates contract provisions and performance requirements. Working conditions are primarily in an office environment and remote.

Essential Job Functions
  • In-depth knowledge of Government FARS and DFARS.
  • Prepares and negotiates contracts and subcontracts, reviews contract provisions, and monitors contract compliance.
  • Establishes and maintains NDAs, teaming agreements, and other like ventures.
  • Formulates and coordinates the procurement of bids and proposals.
  • Determines the necessity for amendments or extensions of existing contracts.
  • Reviews charges assessed by contractors and vendors in the performance of services.
  • Prepares written reports for management review.
  • Reviews contract performance requirements for completeness and accuracy.
  • Consults with management regarding contracts, departmental issues, problems, and related matters.
  • Serves as a liaison to ensure contract fulfillment obligations.
  • Leads in negotiations, terminations, and re-negotiations of contracts.
  • May conduct site and monitoring visits.
  • May assist department in preparing audit responses and resolutions to audit reports from external and internal entities.
  • Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required.

Other Job Functions - Business Development
  • Supports Business Development by helping in outreach to other customers such as Cyber Command, Space Command, etc
  • Recommends new contract opportunities.
