Contract Logistics IT Manager
The IT Manager is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of CL IS solutions for implementation and ongoing hyperscale projects via systems configuration, escalation path, system and data quality, systems performance reporting, and training of the Key users & warehouse management lead personnel to achieve CL IS business objectives.
This position is responsible for training colleagues; and for the support and administration of the computer systems our CL Hyperscale warehouse operations utilize. This includes but is not limited to Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), scheduling tools, Business Intelligence applications, Integration and customer facing portals. The CL IS Implementation Specialist will have in depth knowledge of the WMS system, Reporting tools and VMI processes both systemic and operational. This position is working closely with CL Ops, IS national, regional, and corporate teams.
How you create impact- Lead WMS training and user support through a train-the-trainer approach, including the development of work instructions and training documentation.
- Support new customer implementations by participating in system configuration, testing, validation, and go-live activities both onsite and remotely.
- Serve as the subject matter expert and primary escalation point for VMI WMS issues, ensuring system processes align with customer requirements and business needs.
- Coordinate system validation, audit support, and compliance activities, acting as a key partner for testing, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Manage and test WMS software releases and application updates, supporting change management initiatives and maintaining alignment with global customer requirements.
- Partner with operations on continuous improvement initiatives and support domestic and international customer implementations, including travel as required.
What we would like you to bring- 3 years experience with 3PL products including warehouse management systems, transportation, scheduling and change management tools
- Bachelor's degree is preferred but not mandatory if experience aligns with requirements
- Advanced spoken and written English
- Frequent domestic travel is expected 75%
- High level of competency with Power BI, Excel, Planner and other commonly used business tools
- Basic SQL knowledge a plus
