Job DescriptionCONSTRUCTION PRACTICEThe Contract Administrator is a specialized role within Michael Baker International's Construction Services Group, responsible for performing all aspects of contract administration for assigned contracts. This is a staff augmentation opportunity supporting the City of San Antonio, with the selected candidate working onsite alongside City staff.
What You'll Do:- Participates in the development and fulfillment of contract requirements.
- Examines estimates of material, equipment, and production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules.
- Prepares bids, process specifications, test and progress reports, and other exhibits and
- supports contract negotiation and reporting.
- Reviews bids from other firms for conformity to contract requirements and determines acceptable bids.
- Coordinates work of various departments and acts as liaison between company and contractors to implement fulfillment of contracts.
- Takes part in RFP/RFQ analysis; drafting contract correspondence; drafting contract modifications; monitors contract compliance and deliverables; performs contract file management; and initiates and monitors the contract close-out process.
What You Need to Succeed:- 4 years of relevant contracting experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or contracting experience in lieu of degree
CompensationThe approximate compensation range for this position is $78,000 to $112,000. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.
