Full Job Description
Summary of Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Lead the review, execution and tracking of all company contracts
  • Understand compliance and financial objectives and ensure contracts align with organization goals
  • Review contract estimates, including proposed materials, production costs, etc.; and determine whether they seem reasonable and accurate
  • Identify risks in proposals and contract terms and conditions; negotiate with appropriate operational team to mitigate risks
  • Review and manage contract expiration dates to determine renewals/auto-renewals and any required fair market value documentation that may be necessary prior to expiration of the term
  • Write contract letters and other communications and notices
  • Negotiate and approve contract terms while ensuring that projects remain within the established budget
  • Attend meetings to assess progress on projects which are in motion and take detailed notes to share with stakeholders
  • Analyze contracts to ensure they comply with state and federal laws and regulations
  • Determine whether contract meet the criteria for legal review or may be handled without legal involvement and executed in compliance with the contracting policy
  • Work closely with the internal/external legal team and executives to ensure policies and procedures are followed, documentation is complete and accurate and key payments are validated to ensure compliance with the associated contract

Education and Experience Required

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Bachelor's degree in business related field of study required; MBA preferred
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in contract administration or related field
  • Knowledge of contract law, accounting principles and finance
  • Possesses superior attention to details in order to spot inconsistencies in contracts
  • Previous experience in customer service and strong communication and mediation skills
  • Ability to safely operate company vehicles according to company policy. Must have valid driver's license, proof of auto liability insurance and acceptable motor vehicle driving record
  • Offers of employment are contingent upon satisfactory completion of background screening which includes criminal history and motor vehicle record check

Physical Requirements | Environmental Conditions

  • Lifting and Carrying: Position may require occasional to frequent lifting of up to 25 lbs
  • Mobility: Position may require intermittent to prolonged sitting, standing and/or walking for duration of shift, up to 13 hours
  • Repetitive Movements: This position may require performing repetitive movements and tasks throughout the shift, including repeated use of hands, arms or other body parts as part of typical job functions
  • Environmental Conditions: This position requires the ability to perform work tasks in varying weather conditions to include extreme cold and heat
