What You Can Expect

This position is a critical leadership position that will be directly responsible for driving strategic business improvement projects to reduce operating costs, enable organizational efficiency and assist with waste reduction activities. Will work closely with senior management to implement a variety of lean initiatives including capital optimization/reduction projects. Must have strong experience in applying lean manufacturing and six sigma methodology in a transactional or back office environment. Ability to lead cross functional teams and drive results in a fast paced office environment is critical for this position. Must be able to prioritize and lead projects with minimal direct supervision.

How You'll Create Impact

  • Leads selected project and program teams as directed by plant leadership. Drive capital optimization/reduction initiatives and other change by applying lean and six sigma tools in a transactional environment. Assist managers and team leaders with process optimization and business transformation activities.
  • Provide the necessary training and facilitating skills to drive business transformation activities and ensure long term adoption
  • Collect and analyze information to improve the performance of the department and identify areas for improvement
