Thomson Power Systems (a Regal Rexnord company) is a leading manufacturer of electrical products and systems for use in the Power Generation Industry for over 50 years. As we expand into a new facility near Arlington, TX, we're seeking a hands-on
Continuous Improvement Site Leader to work closely with our Plant Manager and the other leaders to build and grow this new facility.
This role partners directly with the Plant Manager and site leadership to establish daily management routines, standard work, visual controls, and sustainable continuous improvement practices. You will be highly visible on the shop floor, coaching leaders and operators, driving problem-solving, and turning ideas into practical improvements.
We are looking for a change agent who challenges the status quo with respect, leverages data and technology, and builds simple, scalable processes that improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory, and engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Build and implement daily management systems, standard work, visual controls, and accountability routines
- Lead shop-floor engagement-observe work, coach teams, and reinforce behaviors
- Facilitate improvement events to reduce waste, improve flow, and drive performance
- Partner cross-functionally (Operations, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, EHS, HR) to build scalable processes
- Use data and digital tools to improve operational performance
- Develop problem-solving capability (root cause analysis, action planning, follow-through)
- Lead value stream mapping, process design, and continuous improvement roadmaps
- Track and sustain improvement initiatives and results
- Train and coach leaders to embed continuous improvement into daily work
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- 5+ years in manufacturing, operations, or continuous improvement
- Hands-on experience implementing lean principles in a plant environment
- Strong shop-floor presence and ability to coach all levels
- Knowledge of lean tools (VSM, 5S/6S, standard work, visual management, root cause analysis)
- Ability to translate strategy into daily execution
- Strong communication, facilitation, and influencing skills
Preferred Qualifications- Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) or equivalent experience
- Experience with plant startups, transformations, or new line installations
- Familiarity with digital manufacturing tools, ERP/MES systems, or automation
- Experience in industrial, electrical, or discrete manufacturing environments
- Proven ability to develop leaders and sustain operating systems
