Full Job Description
Continuous Improvement Manager

Key Tasks
  • Coach managers/supervisors/team leads and key talents in systematic problem solving (such as 6-sigma techniques)
  • Drive continuous improvement for relevant Standard Operating Procedures and help managers/supervisors to establish
  • standardized work
  • Develop Lean Champions in the Region
  • Lead and deploy the Permobil Lean System as the Lean Master in the Region
  • Lead and facilitate Kaizen Events with focus on developing PLS proficient team members.
  • Lead Strategic Projects such as cross-functional improvement projects, footprint changes etc.
  • Lead 6-sigma projects with cross-functional improvement team
  • Drive the systems to enable our operational improvements thru well justified and articulated functional needs.
  • Be an active team member of the Operations Management team and drive initiatives that will help us achieve our short term and long-term business objectives
  • Instrumental in developing our Operations Strategy for the EMEA region

Your Background
  • Bachelor's degree or Master degree combined withequivalent related work experience is preferred combined with 10 years inLean Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering or relatedfield
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
  • Project Management Skills
  • 6 sigma knowledge on measurement of processes and systematic problem solving preferred
  • Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Change management
  • Project Management experience and documented skills
  • Experience working with forecasting, demand planning, production planning, Manufacturing Execution Systems, MRPand warehouse management systems
