Location: Onsite role in High Point, NC

Pay Range: $85,000 USD/annually

Job Summary

The Continuous Improvement 'Quality' Facilitatorwill be responsible for leading Continuous Improvement activities in the areas of Safety, Quality, and Operations. This role will be onsite in High Point, NC and will require intermittent travel. This role reports to the Director of Quality and Continuous Improvement.

What You'll Do...
  • CI Safety Responsibilities & Expectations
  • Promotes a SAFE work culture.
  • Supports enterprise safety initiatives.
  • Establish emergency procedures and conduct drills to equip employees for unforeseen incidents ensuring swift and appropriate responses.
  • Undertake regular inspections of all plant facilities.
  • Develop and lead safety training sessions for all levels of employees covering a wide range of topics including correct equipment usage, chemical handling, and safe work practices.
  • Compile and maintain all environmental health and safety documentation including OSHA Logs, training records, incident reports and acts as the guide for all audits.
  • Develop roles and responsibilities for Emergency Response Team.
  • Champion Safety Committee.
  • Update Safety Manuals for Operations, including documenting and deploying Job Hazard Analysis, Job Safety Analysis and Lock Out Tag Out work instructions.
  • Champions "Every Site Safe" Dashboard Metrics - Leading and Lag.

CI Quality Responsibilities & Expectations
  • Champions the maintenance of Quality Management System.
  • Leads the development of Quality Standards and Documentation, including document control.
  • Champions CAPAs, RCAs - RMAs, Customer Complaints, COQ, including customer portals.
  • Champions internal audit program; conducts internal audits and acts as the guide for all external audits. Train Vomela certified internal auditors.
  • Supports APQP requests.
  • Maintains Quality Dashboard Metrics - Leading and Lag
  • Demonstrated understanding of industry specifications. (i.e. color, substrates, protective coating, warranty, etc.).
  • Supports supplier quality, assisting with supplier claims.

CI Operations Responsibilities & Expectations
  • Lead value creation for the site; assist with vetting potential savings and validate actual monthly savings.
  • Partner with leadership to initiate 5S deployment and sustainment.
  • Host Kaizen events to eliminate process waste.
  • Utilize a variety of Lean tools and techniques to drive process improvements.
  • Offer personalized coaching, mentoring, and support to all associates. Train in group settings as required.
  • Support Ownership Works 'Value Creation Suggestion Center' activities.
