Job Description

The Media Operations, Operations & Technology group is responsible for prepping content needed for domestic and international distribution as well as broadcast operations. This includes transcode, edit and delivery services to meet client fulfilment around the globe 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Aside from supporting the day-to-day content supply, this position becomes integral to the success of high-profile LRP and strategic goals. We also support marketing supply chains as well as network stunts and events, which have included the Olympics, FIFA World Cup, and the Superbowl in the past.

The Content Solutions Specialist is responsible for strategy, administration, workflow design & solutions, integrations, and day-to-day operational builds. This role sits at the intersection of business stakeholders, clients, product, engineering, and operations; translating requirements into scalable content supply chain workflows and DAM/MAM solutions that support fast turnaround projects and LRP goals. This role designs and implements automations that support the full media asset lifecycle-from ingest through metadata enrichment & translations, QC, versioning, transcoding, delivery, and archival.

The ideal candidate is deeply technical, operationally minded, and comfortable both gathering requirements from non-technical partners, and working closely with product and engineering to bring short term and long term workflow designs into the larger supply chain.

    • Asset ingest (file- and API-based)
    • Metadata validation, normalization, transformation and enrichment
    • Automated QC and review workflows
    • Transcoding and proxy generation
    • Versioning, derivatives, packaging, and delivery
  • Design and support API-based integrations between internal and third-party tooling and clients, for both upstream/downstream systems (e.g., MAMs, encoders, delivery platforms, analytics, metadata stores).
  • Partner with Engineering on REST APIs, MCP integrations, webhooks, JSON/XML schemas/contracts, event-driven patterns, and authentication models.
  • Build and maintain integration workflows using low-code (Java, YAML, Python, etc.) and automation platforms (e.g., Qibb, Power Automate/Logic Apps, ETLworks, AirTable) to orchestrate cross-system handoffs, automate operational processes and reduce manual touchpoints.
  • Build and support ETL metadata architecture, schemas and workflows supporting content ingestion, transformation, validation, enrichment, and fulfillment.
  • Support and integrate supplementary CSC/Marketing Supply chain systems including AI Video & Image Technologies, Orange Logic DAM, Telestream Vantage Encoding, AWS EMC, Fabric Metadata, and other marketing, metadata, analytics, and discovery tools that intersect with the media content lifecycle.
  • Design and build agentic AI/ML-enabled workflows using Microsoft Copilot Studio (or equivalent), creating agents that streamline operational pain points, enable self-service, orchestrate multi-step workflows, and improve team productivity.
  • Create productivity and support solutions using our tools to enhance BAU & Projects.
  • Advise and maintain vendor engagement, including feature requests, issue escalation, release validation, and platform upgrade risk/benefits.
