About the job

Our marketing campaign projects, like our users, span the globe and require managers to keep the big picture in focus. As part of the Global Marketing team, you plan requirements with internal customers and/or external agencies and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. Your projects often span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and it's your job to keep all the players coordinated on the project's progress and deadlines.

In this role, you will produce content and creative that fosters connections and conversations between employees, consumers, partners, and influencers at some of Google's highest profile events and experiences in the U.S. Events include internal and external sales events, thought leadership conferences, launch events, and consumer experiential initiatives.

Your main role will be to work on content with speakers and cross functional support teams. You are a logistics and project management machine. Someone who understands every inch of the 'from concept to screen process and can find space for creativity to flourish within tight time frames and budgets. You will also be a storyteller who understands the language of the screen as a medium and the science/art of combining words, images and sounds for maximum impact. You are comfortable ideating and problem-solving in real-time with creative teams and senior executives alike and have an extraordinary attention to detail at all hours of the day and night.

Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how Google's products solve the world's problems--from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can--changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.
