You will use your subject matter expertise to create and maintain high-quality, practical legal content while collaborating with a team of experienced professionals. This role offers an opportunity to build an alternative legal career that leverages your expertise, writing skills, and interest in legal innovation.
Responsibilities- Write, review and edit practice notes, checklists, flowcharts, precedents and other practice-related materials
- Ensure currency and relevancy of all materials included in the product
- Monitor trends and legal developments in this practice area
- Monitor competitiveness of the product offering
- Recruit and manage relationships with legal practitioners and firms across Canada
- Make recommendations concerning overall content strategy and direction
- Work within a cross-functional team to execute on content and product development strategies and deliver high-quality content within timelines
- Support sales and marketing efforts via product demonstrations, trainings and other initiatives
Requirements- J.D./LL.B. and member of one or more of the bars of any Canadian province or territory (active and in good standing)
- 3+ years of practice experience in Capital Markets, Securities and Public M&A law
- Deep knowledge of Capital Markets, Securities and Public M&A law and workflow
- Strong professional network of Capital Markets, Securities and/or Public M&A lawyers
- Strong, practical writing skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Experience drafting or editing client materials, law journals, CLE presentations or other legal content
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficient with MS Office products
- Highly organized, self-motivated and detail-oriented
- Experience using AI and LLM tools as part of a professional workflow, including validating and improving outputs
- Fluent in French is an asset

Primary Location Base Pay Range: Canada - Toronto (Yonge St) $96,100 - $146,100 (CAD). Base Pay Range in Ontario: $86,400 - $144,000 (CAD).This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.This posting is for an existing vacancy.
