Hanover Research - Content Director - Higher Education Practice Area
Arlington, VA
Remote Opportunitya

The Content Director is the primary research contact for Hanovers Higher Education practice clients.a As such, the position requires strong client management, project management, and overall research skill. We are seeking highly-motivated applicants with the right combination of research and project management experience, preferably within the education sector. A successful candidate will be interested in making a long-term contribution to a growing organization. This position will report directly to a practice area specific Senior Content Director.a

Responsibilities a

  • Identify unique client needs and translate them into well-defined research requests;a

  • Design customized research projects on various topics for Higher Education clients;a

  • Appropriately scope and phase out complex multi-phase projects to fit Hanover model;a

  • Manage the execution of education research projects using a variety of different methodologies by Hanovers staff of Content Analysts and Research Associates;a

  • Edit reports for content, structure, and overall clarity to ensure quality control;a

  • Effectively communicate and explain Hanovers methodologies and findings to clients;a

  • Collaborate with Account Management staff to develop long-term relationships and to ensure client satisfaction;a

  • Provide researchers with guidance and constructive feedback on assigned projects;aa

Education Requirement a
A masters or doctoral degree in Education, Economics, Psychology, Political Science, Sociology, Public Policy, Liberal Arts, or a related discipline is preferred, though candidates with relevant experience without a graduate degree or who hold other degrees will be considered. a

Experience Requirement a
Minimum of 5 - 10 years of full-time work experience conducting research, survey design/analysis, or professional writing, preferably within the education sector is strongly preferred. At least one year of which in a management position preferred. Applied education research experience is preferred.

Compensationaa

Hanover Research strives to create compensation and benefits programs that are competitive, equitable and fair.a The compensation range for this role at the company is $82,970 6 $117,182. This role is also eligible to participate in our variable annual bonus program with gross earnings potential of up to $15,000. This discretionary bonus is based upon both financial performance and individual performance. Please note that the base salary offered is contingent on the candidates job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Our base pay range is determined by the role and the market.aa
