About the role

The Consumer Promotions Member is a member of the Reckitt Customer Marketing Team and will work across Reckitt's Health (Upper Respiratory, Vitamins, Pain, Intimate Wellness) portfolio of brands. The position will require direct interaction with Marketing, Trade Marketing, Senior Managers and Executives and other strategic external partners to develop strong business alignment, programming, and relationships as related to the Consumer Promotions function. You will work with all Reckitt internal functions to ensure Consumer Promotions programming meets stakeholders' needs and delivers upon brand, category and sales objectives. You also will own the relationship with external partners to bring these programs through to exectuion.

Your responsibilities

  • Own development and execution of consumer promotion plan on DFSIs, Ibotta and other consumer promotion tactics to deliver business goals/achieve KPIs across the shopper journey.
  • Develop insight-driven strategy and activation by utilizing coupon insights to create value propositions relevant to target consumers.
  • Lead Omni-shopper budgets efforts in commercial planning process to ensure timely delivery of strategies/plans and ensure linkage to annual planning process.
  • Demonstrate the ability to optimize future programs to deliver the best return. Test & learn mentality to evaluate shopper tactics/program activation elements.
  • Planning coupon calendar grids & deployment to sales
  • Development of coupon principles/strategy
  • Assessment of ROI and P&L for incremental coupon activation requests & recommendation to the business
  • Partnering with 3rd party vendors to execute coupon calendar and book activities with vendors
  • Manage annual negotiation with coupon vendors
  • Manage budget for coupon redemption and activation spend

The experience we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3-5 years of sales/marketing experience within CPG industry with at least 3 years in brand/customer/trade/shopper marketing
  • Prior experience working directly with retailers preferred
  • Prior agency management experience
  • Prior analytics/insights experience with ability to synthesize and make strategic recommendations
  • Prior project management experience - executing a project from start to finish
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinker
  • A balance of strong leadership skills and the ability to work independently
  • Comfortable working in a matrix type of reporting structure (not purely functional area)
  • Strongly results oriented with demonstrable track record of success
  • Self-motivated, highly flexible and takes the initiative to do what's needed
  • Financial acumen related to managing a budget, ROI analysis and budget optimization

USD $143,000.00 - $215,000.00
