Tower is offering a $1000 Signing/Retaining bonus as of 1/20/2025.

Note: All full-time positions include exceptionally low medical premiums in addition to a whole host of other benefits.

HOURS FOR POSITION: Monday - Friday 8:00am-4:30pm,Eveninng,weekend or holiday hours may be required as needed. schedule will be hybrid

Pay Range : $41.29-$51.61

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Lending System Administrator is responsible for supporting Tower Federal Credit Union's (TFCU) Consumer Lending loan origination system, with multiple real-time integration points, and numerous other systems, platforms and applications (consumer lending systems) utilized in the consumer loan origination process. This includes analyzing technical requirements, implementing and maintaining systems through their respective lifecycles. The Lending System Administrator provides project and business analysis support for Consumer Lending related strategic projects, system upgrades, and the integration of these business systems in order to effectively and efficiently use TFCU consumer lending systems.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. Collaborates with end users, analysts, peer system administrators, and management in conceptualizing the development of new software integrations and applications by analyzing existing workflow and understanding current system challenges in order to meet operational needs in a cost effective manner.
  2. Develops technological solutions for processes and/or workflow by performing analysis and providing automation improvements. Validates results by testing programs and provides assistance with new procedures. Assists with solving organization information problems.
  3. Provides technical support for projects in support of TFCU requirements evaluating options and developing project plans to ensure appropriate coordination and sequencing of tasks.
  4. Maintains the integrity, performance, reliability and security of TFCU's consumer lending systems. Works in conjunction with TFCU Information Systems to install and support server and PC based software. This includes actively reviewing new enhancements/features, coordinating updates, and making recommendations regarding vendor/application direction and fit within Tower's Infrastructure.
  5. Investigates and resolves enterprise application functionality issues. Provides first level troubleshooting support for system issues and ancillary applications.
  6. Develops and modifies processes and/or adjusts system parameters according to documentation to incorporate new features and/or resolve production issues, depending on the credit union needs and requests.
  7. Writes, translates, codes, and maintains software integrations and applications according to specifications. Develops programming scripts to enhance functionality and/or performance of consumer lending systems as necessary.
  8. Produces system reports and data extracts in various formats and delivery channels based on end user requirements. Supports user departments with accurate and timely responses to requests for information.
  9. Performs appropriate research and testing for new business processes, or applications.
  10. Establishes and coordinates backup and recovery procedures for applications and databases in conjunction with network administrators. Verifies and tests Disaster Recovery of all consumer lending software applications.
  11. Performs related duties when assigned.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in business, Finance or a related field.
  • Three to five years progressively responsible lending systems experience in the credit union / financial services field.
  • Experience with report creation and analysis using finacial systems.
  • Experience with MeridianLink LoansPQ application, implementation and maintenance is preferred.
  • Or, an equivalent combination of education and experience.


COMPETENCIES

  • Must possess excellent problem solving skills, including the ability to interpret problems and make recommendations based on diagnostics, identify cause and effect relationships and evaluate risk vs. potential return, and adapt to unique situations.
  • Knowledge of relational database and query concepts preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft suite of desktop applications
  • Knowledge of financial institution systems (ie. Core processing, reporting, etc.) a plus.
  • Must possess and demonstrate a thorough knowledge of consumer lending systems.
  • Must possess and demonstrate proficiency in programming underwriting logic and understanding consumer loan programs, products, policies and guidelines.
  • Ability to read and analyze financial and operational data with which to draw sound conclusions and make recommendations and have the ability to create relevant and readable graphs, flowcharts and spreadsheets.
  • Ability to communmicate effectively verbally and in writing, including the ability to interact effectively with systems vendor staff as well as technical and non-technical users at all levels within Tower.
  • Ability to provide explanations or instructions and respond to questions in one-on-one situations, in person, via e-mail and/or over the phone; present ideas and concepts clearly and concisely verbally and in writing; write reports, business correspondence and procedures for a diverse audience.
  • Must possess excellent organization skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, complete daily job assignments, develop comprehensive project and action plans, demonstrate successful follow through with project implementation, organize workload to accommodate competing deadlines, and successfully manage multiple, concurrent projects.
  • Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information, interact effectively and professionally with colleagues and supervisors, and respond to common inquiries and complaints.
  • Has knowledge of and adheres to credit union policies and procedures and all regulations related to the Bank Secrecy Act, the USA PATRIOT Act and OFAC.


WORK CONDITIONS:

  • Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods and demonstrate sufficient dexterity and vision to operate a variety of office equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. with or without assistance.
  • Ability to work the hours needed which may extend beyond the defined work schedule when operating conditions dictate.
  • TFO clearance (Tower Facilities Only)
  • Some evening and weekend work to complete implementations when users are not in the system
  • Ability to respond to needs on an ad hoc and scheduled basis.
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and to handle other computer components.
  • Sufficient sight to work effectively with minimal accommodations, with multiple types of computer terminals, screens, and work stations, and within current and developing work environmens.
  • If assisted, must be able to read data, analyze reports, and prepare summaries and recommendations without violating confidentiality requirements.
