Full Job Description
Job Summary:
Responsible for the daily management of the Consumer Residential Construction Lending Department. Ensures quality service and support for all internal and external clients. Enforces loan policy and established guidelines. Responsible for the accurate processing of loan transactions, payments and disbursements, documents and reporting.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Establishes and maintains a flow of communication with other departments, lenders, executive management, closing attorneys and external clients. Establishes standards and timeframes for handling internal and external client requests, complaints and issues.
  • Acts as an intermediary between staff and RLC, ALO, Legal, Compliance, Pinnacle Mortgage and senior management to ensure operational issues are addressed with a client focus.
  • Ensures proper risk disciplines are in place to deliver the best outcome for clients and to protect the bank's reputation.
  • Establishes standards of performance through the development of departmental processes and procedures based on Loan Policy requirements.
  • Responsible for the proper booking of loans. Establishes guideline checklists and worksheets to assist in getting loans through the approval process efficiently.
  • Responsible for departmental reporting, including past dues, maturities, exceptions, overdraft and insurance are monitored and managed as required. Prepares production reports as needed.
  • Ensures that all department employees are thoroughly trained to perform their job duties and that necessary training is provided to all new mortgageManages the annual performance management and merit processes for direct and indirect reports. Coaches and develops team members and builds a work environment where team members are engaged and feel a positive sense of achievement about their role in the firm. Works closely with Human Resources regarding employee relations, compensation, training, posting and filling vacant positions and other Human Resources related matters.
  • Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Firm authority in a timely fashion.
