Full Job Description
Responsibilities

  • Supports and enables obligations to customer across the delivery lifecycle including envisioning, solution development, delivery planning, cloud consumption and usage, delivery management.


  • Drives project initiation for projects of low complexity (e.g., standard offerings) and/or supports senior colleagues in driving project initiation for components of projects including commitment of delivery resources, resource assignments, and work breakdown structures (WBSs) through administrative and project management office activities (e.g., status reporting, financial tracking, Virtuoso, Campus).Engages with other project managers at the customer site with support from peer teams, supports development of stakeholder relationships, and escalates issues and ambiguous situations to senior colleagues as needed.


  • Initiates contracting process by socializing the need for customer contractual amendments or partner resourcing and assimilating partner resources to the project (e.g., filling out forms in line with contract, liaising with partner resource managers, collecting technical requirements for resources).


  • Develops project management plan (e.g., stakeholder map, communication plan) to drive predictable delivery for projects of low complexity or support senior colleagues in components of projects, leveraging existing materials, to drive scope, resources, and Microsoft project schedule in alignment and collaboration with customer plan.


  • Monitors and tracks risks and issues within basic projects or components of projects with guidance by relying on senior colleagues to identify and evaluate risks, recording and tracking mitigation plans.


  • Applies foundational knowledge of project management principles to execution and delivery and builds their own capability through peer mentorship.


  • Looks for or creates opportunities to maximize timely cloud consumption through current deliveries. Using technical expertise to engage customer stakeholders and build strong business relationships.


  • Collaborating across groups to support consumption activities and fulfill customer obligations throughout the delivery lifecycle.


  • Building trusted relationships with customers through feedback review, guidance, expectation management, and adherence to key performance indicators.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field AND 3+ years experience in project management

  • Demonstrated experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Consulting Project Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $101,800 - $193,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $126,100 - $207,600 per year.

This position will be open for a minimum of 5 days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.

This position requires residence in the Houston area and the ability to travel 50-75% to customer sites within the Houston region.
