Job Summary

Consulting Manager role in a multinational organization focused on process and industrial manufacturing clients responsible for driving complex consulting engagements optimizing operations and enabling digital transformation. The role requires 12 to 15 years experience hybrid work model and day shift with no travel expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Drive end to end consulting engagements for process and industrial manufacturing clients by defining clear objectives and measurable outcomes that align with client business strategies and corporate goals.
  • Analyze existing manufacturing operations including production planning quality management maintenance and supply chain processes to identify performance gaps and prioritize high impact improvement opportunities.
  • Design practical and scalable process optimization solutions that enhance throughput reduce waste improve safety and strengthen compliance with regulatory and internal quality standards.
  • Coordinate cross functional workshops with client stakeholders from operations finance technology and quality to gather requirements validate findings and secure buy in for proposed solutions.
  • Develop detailed implementation roadmaps covering activities timelines resource needs and risk mitigation approaches to ensure smooth execution of recommended initiatives.
  • Guide data driven decision making by interpreting operational metrics cost drivers and performance indicators and by translating analytical insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate closely with digital and technology teams to shape solutions that leverage automation analytics and manufacturing execution systems and that are feasible in real plant environments.
  • Prepare clear and concise consulting deliverables such as current state assessments future state designs business cases and progress reports tailored to executive and operational audiences.
  • Support change enablement activities by crafting communication plans training outlines and role specific guidance that help client teams adopt new ways of working with confidence.
  • Monitor project progress against agreed milestones proactively address issues and escalate risks in time to protect scope schedule and expected benefits.
  • Coach junior consulting professionals by sharing industry knowledge reviewing work products and promoting high quality standards that reflect the organizations values and client commitments.
  • Partner with internal sales and account teams by contributing subject matter expertise in process and industrial manufacturing during proposal development and client presentations.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge assets by documenting case studies templates and best practices that can be reused across engagements and that strengthen the consulting portfolio.


Qualifications
  • Demonstrate extensive experience of 12 to 15 years in consulting or transformation roles within process manufacturing and industrial manufacturing environments with tangible examples of delivered business outcomes.
  • Bring deep understanding of core manufacturing domains including production operations maintenance planning quality management supply chain and plant safety within regulated and competitive markets.
  • Apply practical knowledge of lean methodologies continuous improvement and operational excellence frameworks to design and implement sustainable performance enhancements in plant operations.
  • Utilize familiarity with digital manufacturing tools such as manufacturing execution systems advanced planning solutions and industrial analytics platforms to support data informed recommendations.
  • Communicate complex technical and process concepts in clear business language to senior stakeholders and operational teams while facilitating collaborative problem solving.
  • Manage multiple projects in a hybrid work model by organizing workloads coordinating with distributed teams and using collaboration platforms to maintain transparency and accountability.
  • Exhibit strong consulting skills including structured problem solving stakeholder management storytelling and business case development tailored to industrial and process manufacturing clients.
