Consulting Director I (Engagement Leader)

Minimum Qualifications Summary

Certification & Education
  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited institution. Master's strongly preferred.

Experience Required
  • Minimum eight years leading consulting, organizational improvement, or stakeholder-engagement initiatives.


Job Objective

The Office of Administrative Operations (OAO) of the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) requires a contractor to provide Business Analysis and Policy Development Support to NCCIH executive leadership and staff. The Acting Executive Officer will work closely with the Contracting

Officer's Representative (COR) to manage all contract services to ensure successful delivery of high-quality work products and support to meet stakeholder business needs, managing risks proactively and effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Lead organizational assessments, business-needs analyses, and strategic improvement initiatives.
  • Engage NCCIH leadership to clarify objectives, priorities, and measures of success.
  • Work closely with NCCIH office and division leadership and other stakeholders as needed to plan, execute, and monitor activities and work products in alignment to strategic goals.
  • Foster outreach and engagement with leadership and stakeholders, including but not limited to developing and facilitating information gathering sessions, emails, decision memos, presentations, training, templates, and resources as appropriate.
  • Actively participate and/or lead relevant workgroups and team/stakeholder meetings/discussions
  • Direct consulting of all relevant sources to obtain information required for documents.
  • Design and facilitate stakeholder interviews, working sessions, and decision-making discussions.
  • Conduct research and benchmarking to identify relevant government and industry practices.
  • Develop practical recommendations addressing processes, governance, resources, and organizational needs.
  • Guide process improvement and change-management activities from assessment through implementation.
  • Identify dependencies and opportunities for coordination across NCCIH programs and offices.
  • Produce executive-level findings and recommendations for Government review and decision.
