Our Investment Banking Analyst program seeks bright, ambitious individuals who embrace challenges and are prepared to learn quickly. As an Investment Banking Analyst, you will work side by side with experienced and execution-focused investment bankers, as well as clients from a wide range of industries including consumer & retail, healthcare, business services, and global industrials. With a focus on Mergers & Acquisitions ("M&A"), our practice advises clients through critical stages of the transaction process and is intimately involved each step of the way. As an Analyst, you will quickly become a core execution team member and will be asked to assume significant responsibility commensurate with your ability. You will be required to interact regularly with company executives and professional investors, and accordingly our Analyst program will help to prepare you for a career on a variety of potential paths. Recent Analyst alumni have progressed to reputable private equity firms and highly-ranked business schools. Our program is competitive and challenging, while also highly rewarding. Upon hire, Analysts participate in a comprehensive training program led by seasoned Wall Street professionals.

Work You'll Do

Working closely with clients, you will provide recommendations that are aligned with an organization's business goals and overall strategic and transactional objectives. Constructing financial models to help clients assess growth strategies, capital structure decisions, and transaction alternatives, will help you develop a comprehensive technical skill set at an early career stage. Concurrently, you will employ a number of core valuation methodologies to help businesses evaluate their worth in the marketplace and advise them on appropriate ranges at which to conduct transactions. Also, you will have the opportunity to learn how to appropriately position businesses in the investor community by articulating value propositions and anticipating potential concerns. Across these responsibilities, you will receive considerable exposure to senior bankers and clients as you participate in each phase of the transaction process. From preparing a pitchbook to win an assignment, to traveling across the country to conduct financial and operational due diligence on behalf of a client, Analysts on our platform have an immediate opportunity to add significant value on their teams.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree completed by Spring/Summer 2027 in these or related areas of study:
    • Finance
    • Accounting
    • Economics
  • Strong academic track record (3.0 cumulative GPA required)
  • Must live within a commutable distance to your assigned office (g. 100-mile radius) with the ability to commute daily, if required, upon start date
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment
  • Upon commencement of employment, have or obtain all required FINRA licenses within sixty (60) days
Preferred Qualifications
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or above
  • Relevant work experience or work experience in a professional environment (e.g. internships, summer positions, school jobs)
  • Demonstrated recent leadership, such as in a campus club, society, sports teams or other activity
  • Demonstrated recent social impact or volunteer activity
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate is $100,000.
