The Management Consulting Team at Teneo

Our Management Consulting division focuses on answering key strategic questions for business leaders through our mix of senior experience and rigorous analysis, combined with the unique expertise that exists across Teneo. We operate across a diverse array of sectors including Consumer Goods, Healthcare, Leisure & Hospitality, Software, Transport, and TMT, amongst others. Within these markets, we provide strategic, operational, and due diligence support, advising reputable Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 firms, key public-sector organizations, and leading private equity houses.

As a Consultant, you will work in teams alongside other consultants to solve complex business challenges and deliver impactful solutions for clients. You will conduct analysis, develop strategic recommendations, and collaborate closely with clients and colleagues to drive meaningful business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with project leaders and teams to deliver client solutions, owning workstreams that address priority business challenges within the broader engagement
  • Use a hypothesis-driven approach to conduct research, analyze data, test ideas, and develop clear, actionable insights
  • Develop compelling slides, recommendations, and presentation materials tailored to different audiences
  • Contribute to case team meetings, client presentations, workshops, and discussions with clear communication and thoughtful analysis
  • Collaborate with colleagues and experts across Teneo to bring integrated perspectives to clients and identify opportunities to expand involvement
  • Support proposal development and broader Management Consulting team priorities, including initiatives such as recruiting or knowledge management

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2+ years of relevant experience preferred, including prior consulting experience
  • Strong academic, professional, and/or extracurricular track record, with demonstrated leadership and achievement
  • Structured problem-solver with strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, sound judgment, and comfort navigating ambiguity
  • Collaborative and proactive team player who works effectively with colleagues and clients at all levels, while operating independently and seeking guidance when appropriate
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate clearly across settings
  • Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and interest in developing expertise in new areas
  • Proficiency with core Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Base Salary Range

$125,000-150,000 (compensation for this role will depend on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience that may fall outside of the range listed).

Hybrid Flexible Work Policy

Teneo believes in in-person collaboration when possible. If you are assigned to the New York office, the company expectation is for employees to work from the office location a minimum of three times a week.
