Department: Infor Consulting Services

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: US-Remote

Description

The Consultant supports the configuration, testing, and delivery of Infor Public Sector (IPS) / Hansen solutions for government clients, primarily within Community Development & Regulation (CDR), Asset Management, and Billing modules. Working with fellow delivery consultants, delivery management, Service Delivery Managers, and Service Operations Managers, the Consultant provides subject matter consulting on existing solution issues and new solution enhancements/minor projects

A Typical Day in the Life Includes:
  • Assist in delivering business benefits to clients
  • Participate in full lifecycle client-facing implementation projects related to Infor applications
  • Lead information gathering and design processes, including developing functional business requirements and solution scope documents
  • Configure client business solutions
  • Develop and execute test plans for software configurations
  • Provide training to key and end users
  • Provide implementation consultancy and application best practice advice


Basic Qualifications:
• Experience in enterprise software configuration, implementation, or support (Infor IPS/Hansen experience strongly preferred).
• Working knowledge of relational databases (Oracle or SQL Server) and ability to write or interpret basic SQL queries.
• Understanding of permitting, licensing, code enforcement, or regulatory workflows in a public-sector context (or strong aptitude to learn quickly).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting configuration details to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple assigned tasks in a structured managed services environment and meet delivery deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Direct hands-on experience with Infor Public Sector (IPS) CDR Suite (v10.x/v11.x) or legacy Hansen 8.
  • Exposure to GIS Sync (Esri interfaces), Rhythm for Civics portal configuration, or mobile Field Inspector applications.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools such as Birst or IDM.
  • Prior consulting or client-facing delivery experience, ideally with state or local government clients.
