Consultant(e) associé(e) et statisticien(ne), Statistiques et psychométrie - Solutions axées sur les patient(e)s

Votre rôle

À titre de consultant(e) associé(e) au sein du groupe Statistiques et psychométrie de PCS, vous participerez, sous la direction des responsables de projet, à des projets comportant des volets d'analyse statistique ou psychométrique. Vous aurez l'occasion de vous attaquer à des problèmes analytiques et stratégiques complexes et de travailler dans plusieurs régions, tout en jouant un rôle concret dans l'élaboration et la prestation de solutions sur mesure à nos clients de l'ensemble du secteur des sciences de la vie. Ce poste convient parfaitement aux professionnel(le)s en début de carrière qui se passionnent pour la recherche et l'innovation dans le domaine des soins de santé, aiment résoudre des problèmes et souhaitent perfectionner leurs compétences en services-conseils dans un environnement dynamique et axé sur les besoins des clients.

Principales responsabilités :
  • Contribuer directement à la réalisation des livrables des projets, notamment à l'élaboration de plans d'analyse statistique ou psychométrique et de maquettes de résultats, et effectuer des analyses statistiques (y compris la programmation dans SAS, R et Mplus) afin de produire des résultats statistiques.
  • Participer à l'interprétation des résultats, notamment à la rédaction de rapports statistiques, de rapports psychométriques et d'autres rapports techniques, ainsi qu'à la préparation de présentations résumant les résultats.
  • Participer aux réunions internes et aux rencontres avec les clients, et contribuer à la communication des résultats d'analyse auprès de publics multidisciplinaires.
  • Contribuer à une diffusion plus large des résultats, notamment en participant à la préparation de résumés et de présentations de recherche.
  • Participer aux activités de développement des affaires et à la rédaction de propositions.
  • Soutenir le perfectionnement et l'apprentissage continus de l'équipe en passant en revue et en résumant les publications pertinentes et en contribuant aux discussions et aux activités de formation axées sur la méthodologie.


Qualifications

Requises
  • Vous détenez l'un des diplômes suivants :
    • une maîtrise en (bio)statistique, en psychométrie, en recherche sur les résultats, en mathématiques, en épidémiologie, en santé publique, en pharmacie ou dans une discipline connexe, ainsi qu'un (1) an d'expérience dans les services-conseils, les soins de santé, les sciences de la vie, l'industrie pharmaceutique, la biotechnologie ou l'analyse de données;
    • un baccalauréat en (bio)statistique, en psychométrie, en recherche sur les résultats, en mathématiques, en épidémiologie, en santé publique, en pharmacie ou dans une discipline connexe, ainsi que deux (2) ans d'expérience dans les services-conseils, les soins de santé, les sciences de la vie, l'industrie pharmaceutique, la biotechnologie ou l'analyse de données.
  • Vous possédez au minimum des connaissances de base des méthodes statistiques applicables aux essais cliniques (notamment les analyses descriptives, les analyses de régression, y compris les modèles linéaires, logistiques et à effets mixtes, les analyses de survie et les méthodes de traitement des données manquantes) et/ou des méthodes d'analyse psychométrique (notamment la théorie classique des tests [TCT], la théorie de la réponse à l'item [TRI], les analyses factorielles exploratoires et confirmatoires et la modélisation par équations structurelles).
  • Vous avez de l'expérience en programmation avec un ou plusieurs logiciels statistiques, comme SAS, R ou Mplus.
  • Vous possédez de solides compétences analytiques et souhaitez vous tenir au fait des travaux portant sur la méthodologie statistique dans les domaines pertinents.
  • Vous maîtrisez l'anglais et possédez d'excellentes aptitudes en communication écrite et orale, notamment la capacité de communiquer efficacement dans un environnement multidisciplinaire.

Associate Consultant and Statistician, Statistics & Psychometrics - Patient Centered Solutions

Your Role

As an Associate Consultant in the PCS Statistics & Psychometrics group, you will participate in projects with statistical or psychometric analysis components under guidance of the project leads. You'll have the opportunity to address challenging analytical and strategic problems and work across multiple geographies with a hands-on role in developing and delivering tailored solutions to our clients across the life sciences industry. This role is ideal for early-career professionals who are passionate about healthcare-related research and innovation, enjoy problem-solving, and are eager to develop consulting skills in a dynamic, client-focused environment.

Key responsibilities:
  • Directly contribute to achievement of project deliverables such as development of statistical analysis plans or psychometric analysis plans, design outputs shells, and perform statistical analysis (including SAS, R, and Mplus programming) to create statistical outputs.
  • Assist with the interpretation of results, including development of statistical reports, psychometric reports, other technical reports, and summary results presentations.
  • Participate in internal and client-facing meetings and contribute to the communication of analytical findings to multidisciplinary audiences.
  • Assist with wider results dissemination, including supporting abstracts and research presentation development.
  • Assist in business development activities and support proposal writing.
  • Support the team's ongoing development and learning by reviewing and summarizing relevant literature and contributing to methodology-focused discussions and trainings.


Qualifications

Required
  • You have a:
    • Master's degree in (bio)statistics, psychometrics, outcomes research, mathematics, epidemiology, public health, pharmacy or closely related discipline, plus 1 year of experience in consulting, healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or analytics.
    • Bachelor's degree in (bio)statistics, psychometrics, outcomes research, mathematics, epidemiology, public health, pharmacy or closely related discipline, plus 2 years of experience in consulting, healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or analytics.
  • You have at least basic knowledge of statistical methods that apply to clinical trials (such as descriptive analyses, regression analysis including linear, logistic, and mixed-effects models, survival analysis, missing data approaches etc.) and/or psychometric analysis methods (such as classical test theory [CTT], item response theory [IRT], exploratory and confirmatory factor models, structural equation modelling, etc.).
  • You have programming experience with one or more statistical software packages such as SAS, R, or Mplus.
  • You have strong analytical skills and interest in keeping up to date with proceedings on statistical methodology in relevant fields.
  • You are fluent in English and have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • You are a confident writer with strong technical writing skills and ability to interpret and describe complex research results.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and business productivity tools for project management and communication.
  • You are a team player and possess excellent interpersonal skills, especially in a virtual environment.
  • You are curious and able to quickly build the knowledge needed for the specific disease area or methodological approach relevant to each project.
  • You have excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow expected standards for documentation quality.
  • You are willing and able to work in a fast-paced environment and can effectively manage multiple tasks and projects.
