Full Job Description
The Consultant - Business Controlling provides support to management and operational departments by developing complex data products that are integrated into business processes and generate added business value. The role will include partnering with internal stakeholders across the business locally and internationally. The role is responsible for holding an understanding of the department's processes and works towards safeguarding data management and data logistics. This position also provides support for decision makers by supplying information and elaboration of data for business decision making.

What You'll Do

Essential Functions
  • Effectively manage projects and project timelines while working independently and collaboratively to achieve short, medium, and long-term departmental visions
  • Evaluate industry best practices and monitor developments and innovations within the retail sector particular to their business that may be beneficial to the daily operations of the organization
  • Analyze and evaluate projects and develop ideas and/or practical solutions for streamlining business processes
  • Regularly evaluates standard operational procedures and instructional documentation for improvements
  • Serve as main point of contact for project escalation
  • Compile ad-hoc reports and presentations, supporting executive management and operational departments by providing analysis for business focus areas
  • Manipulate and interpret large amounts of data using business intelligence software
  • Communicate and exchange experiences regarding operational matters with regional distribution centers
  • Cross-analyze data from different sources to create new insights to the business to solve real-world business problems
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in a related field
  • In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience in related field will meet the education and related experience requirements listed above
Physical Job Requirements
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
