What you'll be doing The Marketing Data Strategy & Governance team is a strategic Data Product delivery team within CIBC Personal and Business Banking, applying rigor in Data Engineering & Analytics with strong sense of business partnership, to drive impact for our clients and business outcomes. Reporting to the Director, Marketing Data Strategy, the Consultant, Analytics Data Engineer will lead the design, execution and maintenance of Client-Centric Data Products that support CIBC’s Marketing and Data modernization programs. As a motivated self-starter, your curiosity in data, deep understanding of the business priorities, pared with expertise in cloud-native data engineering principles, you will be an integral part in delivering innovative data solutions and data assets that bring business value. You will practice effective development with Agile methodology, DevOps, CI/CD and governance built-in to the delivery on Databricks Analytics Platform. You are able to collaborate closely with data product owners, Data Scientists, PBB Analytics, and various technology and program partners.
