Salary range (but not limited to):

109,900 - 134,300

Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

12%

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.


About the role

We're looking for a Consultant, Actuarial, to join our growing Operation Performance Analytic team!

What you'll do here:

  • Work independently on ambitious, strategic projects, including identifying trends and creating analytical solutions to optimize operational efficiency.

  • Leverage your expertise to lead large-scale, results-oriented initiatives.

  • Play a leadership role in discussions with our business partners: challenge assumptions, influence, co-create, and propose innovative solutions.

  • Guide colleagues by providing coaching, reviewing their work, conducting technical analyses, and resolving complex problems.


What you bring to the table:

  • University Degree or any combination of equivalent education and experience.

  • Certifications in Mathematics, Actuarial, ACAS or FCAS preferred.

  • 5 years or more of actuarial experience (preferably in the P&C Insurance sector).

  • Good knowledge with Python, SAS, VBA or R .

  • Desirable competencies: adaptability, innovative, analytical, decision-making, critical thinking, stellar communication, planning, organizing and team oriented.

  • Bilingualism (French-English), For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country .

  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
