Functional Lead, A.I. Data Center

A highly skilled AI Data Center Functional Leader responsible for leading and managing large-scale AI server operations. This role demands technical awareness, exceptional leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver customer-centric, stable solutions and ensure operational excellence in high-stakes data center environments. A forward-thinking, innovative-driven mindset, adept at navigating the fast-paced and evolving AI industry, is a valuable asset. Responsibilities encompass the management and oversight of service delivery processes, including incident management, problem management, request management, change management, service level management, and configuration management, as well as resource coordination, customer management, dispute resolution, technical resolution, and communications at various levels, from tactical (incident-based) to strategic (Global Account Management Strategies).

  • 12+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 8+ years with a Master's degree; or 5+ years with a PhD; or equivalent experience desired in Computer Science, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree or advanced degree preferred.
  • 9-12 years of experience in IT infrastructure, data center operations, AI server maintenance, or field services, with at least 3-5 years in a technical leadership or management role.
  • Proven expertise in managing large-scale technical projects (1,000+ servers) in AI data center environments.
  • Familiarity with global best practices in data center operations and AI infrastructure.
  • Certifications in project management (PMP, Agile) or data center operations (CDCP, CDCS) are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as required to customer sites and participate in on-call rotations or after-hours escalations.

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $147,900 - $191,400.
