Full Job Description
Summary

Titan Environmental is seeking a Construction Supervisor for our Western Region. This role is responsible for leading field teams and overseeing the successful execution of construction projects throughout the region. As Titan continues to grow, the Construction Supervisor will play a key role in coordinating crews, managing daily site activities, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to Titan's standards. As a leader in the field, you will foster a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork while supporting the successful delivery of current and future projects across the Western Region.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Efficiently organize and supervise construction crews, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to project timelines.
  • Review start-up packages and communicate with the office regarding current projects.
  • Collaborate with the General Contractor (GC), engineers, and office personnel to facilitate seamless communication and project coordination.
  • Review start-up packages thoroughly, staying in constant communication with the office to ensure project requirements are met, and any updates are promptly addressed.
  • Read and interpret project plans and specifications to effectively guide the construction process and ensure compliance with design standards.
  • Assess materials and equipment upon arrival at the job site, promptly identifying any shortages or overages to minimize project risks and maintain efficient operations.
  • Execute project work within budgetary constraints, working closely with the Project.
  • Manager and Construction Manager to optimize resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.
  • Remain flexible and adaptable in responding to evolving project requirements, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Champion Titan's commitment to safety as the foremost priority, actively promoting and enforcing safe working practices among all team members.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction, preferably in a supervisory role or equivalent, with a strong understanding of construction practices and procedures.
  • Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead, teach, and delegate tasks to construction teams, resolve issues, and implement solutions, while fostering collaboration.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple aspects of a project under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Outlook.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and plans with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Required to be physically fit, with the ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, and perform hands-on tasks in outdoor environments in all weather conditions.
  • Proficiency to operate basic hand and power tools.
  • Commitment to safety, with practical knowledge of safe equipment operation and a proactive approach to fostering a safe workplace.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license (or equivalent) required.
